From a simple idea to a comprehensive platform

Job Manager was born out of frustration with disjointed tools for running a computer service business. Spreadsheets, paper notes, and disconnected apps made it hard to keep track of customers, jobs, invoices and payments.

In 2004, our founder decided to build a web app that would be a solution that just works. The result is Job Manager, a platform that simplifies the way you manage your service business. Job Manager has gone through a series of iterations over the years and evolved into what it is today, but the core idea has never changed: a platform that makes it easy to manage your customers, jobs, and invoices. Where is Job Manager based?

How do you handle data security?

Can I migrate from another tool?

Yes! We offer a data migration assistance. Just contact support and we’ll help you import your customers, jobs, and invoices (where possible).

Do you offer custom development?

Does Job Manager work with Xero or QuickBooks?

Yes. Job Manager connects directly with Xero and QuickBooks Online. When an invoice is paid in full, it's sent to your accounting software automatically — along with the customer record and payment details. When a purchase order is fully received, a supplier bill is posted to your accounts straight away. Changes made in Xero or QuickBooks come back here in real time too, so both systems always stay in step. There is nothing to export, nothing to import, and no double entry. Your accountant carries on working in Xero or QuickBooks as normal — this just keeps everything in sync automatically.

Does Job Manager have a mobile app?

Yes. Job Manager is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you install it directly from your browser onto any iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, or Windows device. It appears on your home screen, opens full-screen, and sends push notifications — just like a native app. There is nothing to download from an App Store and nothing to manually update; it is always the latest version.
